What We Believe In
HONESTY
For those of you who deal with our office, you already know that we tell it like we see it. We don't always tell our clients what they want to hear, and sometimes we don't like the message or information we have to convey, but we promise to tell it the way we see it. We sometimes have to be the bearers of bad news, but don't believe in passing the buck to claims adjusters or insurance companies. However, this doesn't mean it is always bad news, or that we are always right. Everyone makes mistakes if they are human, and were definitely human. We learn each day, come across unique situations that challenge our past experience, and never hesitate to call our companies with a hypothetical question about a claim, suggestions on how to rate a policy, or requests for advice on how to meet a clients needs.
EDUCATION
The insurance industry is huge, and has been shrouded in mystery for years. It can seem very complicated and intimidating. Most people don't question that we need insurance, but very few people know what they are paying for. Most people know more about their $300 car stereo than they do their car insurance which can cost a lot more than $300 per year!
In a society that is becoming more and more buyer beware, there seems to be less emphasis on explaining WHY and HOW than on SALE and DISCOUNTS. This puts people into a situation where they can get a bargain and feel guilty if they don't take advantage of the deal. Unfortunately, with insurance it is often after a claim that you rediscover the wisdom that "WHEN SOMETHING SEEMS TO BE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS". When you don't get what you expected, the cost both financially and emotionally can be devastating.
With the recent increase in 1-800-cheap insurance, group plans and call centres, the responsibility for making the right decisions and having the proper coverage falls more and more to you - the consumer. And if something goes wrong, you are the only one that suffers the consequences of the loss. By then it is too late to go back and make changes. Have you noticed that the most passionate educators (lecturers) about insurance are those who have just suffered an uninsured or underinsured loss? If only we could harness their willingness to educate others without the loss happening first.
This buyer beware attitude with the associated emphasis on productivity, number of calls answered, and bottom line profits worries us because we know what the consequences could be. Unfortunately, we cant possibly cover the full Insurance 101 with every person we insure, or provide a quote to. We spend as much time as possible explaining what coverage is available and helping people identify and evaluate your needs but there is just too much information to cover it all.
We learn something new every day, and would like to share our heads up with you, so you can be in a better position to protect yourself and educate your friends and family. Of course, if we can continue to be a part ensuring you have the proper coverage once we have helped identify your needs, thats what were here for.
We wont make you into a qualified insurance broker but we will give you information to get you thinking about your insurance needs. That way when you do call or come to see us, you can be a part of the decision making process. This will allow you to work with us to make sure you have the proper insurance protection.

It seems ironic that although we prefer to talk to our clients and prospective clients in person or on the phone, we have turned to the internet and a web page as a way to provide personalized customer service.
We realize that the internet is a powerful tool that allows us to reach a large number of people with the information they need to make more informed insurance decisions.
We still want to sit down with you - or talk to you on the phone in order to discuss your specific needs and help make sure you are covered properly. The articles and information on this site are generic and only scratch the surface. Most importantly, your situation may be unique and other rules or information that are not on the page may apply.
When it comes to buying a policy and selecting coverage, it is only through conversation and discussion that we can get a full picture of your needs and your specific situation.
