Wedding Insurance – A few less things to worry about!!

When I was getting ready for the Bridal Fair, I came across notes I had not given much attention to in the past. I thought “Wedding Insurance” sounded negative, and had to do with standing at the altar with no bride or groom in sight.

After reviewing the coverage, I now appreciate how valuable the coverage can be.

Weddingguard provides financial protection against many of the things that could go wrong with the wedding plans, including cancellation from most causes beyond your control.

Things that can be covered by WEDDINGGUARD for only $150 (higher limits available).

1 - Wedding CancellationUp to $4000 for cancellation expenses incurred due to necessary cancellation of the wedding or reception as a result of any fortuitous cause beyond your control. Examples are death, injury or unemployment of the bride, groom or their relatives; premises booked is unable to hold the ceremony; loss of, or damage beyond repair of the bridal attire.

2 – Wedding Photographs Up to $2500 to retake photographs following non-appearance of photographer, or loss of, damage to, or non-development of negatives.

3 – Bridal Attire Up to $2500 for loss or damage to bridal attire, or dress hire charges necessarily incurred following loss or damage to bridal attire, once in your possession prior to wedding ceremony.

4 – Wedding Presents Up to $5,000 for loss of, or damage to, wedding presents in your possession within 72 hours before and after the wedding, and at the reception.

5 – Honeymoon Trip CancellationUp to $200 toward the loss of pre-paid non-refundable costs on honeymoon trip due to necessary cancellation of wedding.

6 – Public Liability Up to $1,000,000 for your legal liability as organizer or the wedding and reception to pay compensation for accidental injury to any person or damage to their property.

Another thing to remember is that if you are hosting a stag, or having a reception or wedding at your home, you may be sued if someone you inadvertently over-serve causes an accident and injures someone. Host Liquor Liability Insurance is another type of insurance that is available separately to protect you.
